Room 12 Artwork

Room 12 has a class mascot – a Turtle called Shelly! Recently Room 12 kids have been creating their own turtle mascots and have used these to write descriptions.  I have loved seeing their wonderful efforts; they really made me smile!

Jewels Netball

The Jewels netball girls have worked exceptionally hard this season. We have seen a huge improvement to their game play this season and they ended the season undefeated (9 wins & 1 draw).  Well done girls!

Acers Netball

The PBS Acers attended the Te Ara Tuakana Maidstone Invitational Tournament 2 on Sunday and did an incredible job finishing first in their division. U14 Girls’ NZ Cross Country

Over the weekend one of our students demonstrated Excellence to a very high standard. Congratulations Lucie Thomson on winning the Under 14 Girls’ New Zealand Cross Country championships! Lucie is only Year 7 so this makes her achievement even more impressive, and an inspiration for our younger tamariki with similar aspirations.

Lunchtime Activities

Writing Observations

  Yesterday Evie and Michelle from Rm 18 popped across to share their wonderful writing. In class they had conducted a science experiment and they wrote about what they observed. We talked about their curiosity around what happened in the experiment and the excellence they showed with their writing. Ka pai korua!
