We had a number of teams take part in the inter school Ki-o-rahi tournament last week. Our tamariki are becoming so good at this kēmu/game that they present tough competition! Here’s a few cool action shots from the day.

Last week, as part of their inquiry, Rooms 7 & 8 followed the storm water drains from our school down to the ocean and collected rubbish along the way. So much great learning took place. Thank you to our parent community who have helped out with the many school trips and events this term!

We are pleased to share that Austin Wilson successfully completed the 2026 Wellington Weet-Bix TRYathlon on Sunday, 15 March.  Austin approached the event very excited, with some initial nerves, particularly around the swim, but showed great determination and confidence to complete the course.   A fantastic achievement.  Well done Austin!

Last Friday, we had an incredible day at the Girls’ Futsal Tournament, with 76 of our Year 4–8 students getting involved!  Last Wednesday, 56 students from the Te Moana Syndicate participated in the Have-A-Go Tennis Interschool Event, hosted by Kapiti Primary Sport and the Paraparaumu Tennis Club. During our recent Year 6 Pedal Ready Programme, one of our students truly stood out for his determination.
