On Friday, we had our end of season celebration for our PBS hockey teams (Years 3-8). After some fun playing hockey rounders on the turf, the players enjoyed hot food in the pavilion, and we acknowledged all our players, coaches and managers.
We have had an awesome season with lots of development from all of the players, and a fantastic group of coaches and managers including ex PBS students Vienna McDowell and Corey Whitfield, current PBS students Noah Hunt, Regan Tidy and Zavier Marshall, and parents Steph Caldwell, Sam Willis, Clare Pringle, Michelle Patterson and Paul Tessier. Huge thanks to all of them!
The players enjoyed the afternoon, especially the delicious food sponsored by local businesses Stratford Electrical and KS Beauty Studio – we could not have had this celebration without them- and provided by Sue and her team at the Kapiti Turf. Thank you so much!
On Sunday, the two Year 3/4 teams turned out despite the weather for their last games, including a PBS derby! The Year 7/8 and 5/6 teams will have their final games this week. Best of luck teams 🙂
